Listen, I’m going to wear whatever I want and I don’t care what others think about it. 

I keep hearing comments like, that’s not age-appropriate or she’s too old to wear that, blah blah blah.

The other day someone I know called me and asked, “Did you hear the news about the 72-year-old lady that went missing? 

Yes.

“She was wearing leggings and a leather jacket at her age.  She must be something!” I wear leggings and leather jackets.  I didn’t know there was an age limit on leggings and leather 🙂 

She went silent. 

I then added, you know, if you’re lucky enough to live to get to my age range, you should wear whatever the hell you want without apology.

While reading an article on what mature women should wear one lady commented that nobody over a certain age looks good in tights.  Well, I happen to think I look pretty cute in my leggings (even with my knock knees) as long as I’ve paired them with something to cover my behind.  

So, whatever is in those fashions for mature women, read and follow them if you wish. 

Personally, I’m going to wear whatever I like that I think looks good on me.  And if you see me and say “She’s wearing that at her age???”  I say “Hell yeah, and if you felt as good about yourself as I feel about myself, and thought you looked good in whatever, you’d wear that at your age too”.   

Anyway, that’s jazzy’s opinion.
